Voter pamphlets start to arrive ahead of official ballots for redistricting proposition

A vote center open in San Diego County Centers will open next month for voting on Prop File photo courtesy of Registrar of Voters Selected of the over million voters registered in San Diego County began receiving voter information pamphlets for the Nov special electoral contest in the mail Saturday The pamphlets contain information on voting options polling deadlines and a sample ballot as a guide to how the official one will look Voters can find a list of official ballot drop boxes and vote centers in the pamphlet or online at the Registrar of Voters Those who signed up to get the pamphlet electronically should have received an email with the same information and a link to the Registrar s office People throughout California are being sought to decide whether to adopt Proposition an amendment to the State Constitution related to redistricting Residents in the city of Poway s Council District will have an additional question on their ballot on whether to remove their city council member from office Voters can expect to receive their official ballot the week of Oct which is also when early voting begins That gives people about a month to mark and return it by the final day of voting on Nov They will have three options to submit ballots returning them by mail or dropping them off at one of the Registrar s official ballot boxes or at any vote center In-person early voting begins Oct at select vote centers throughout the county they will be open daily from a m to p m
