The Boston Police Department is seeking the constituents s assistance in finding a man they say is connected with an ongoing larceny examination According to police the man was caught on camera stealing four packages from a porch on Elm Street in Charlestown just before midnight on Saturday September Police say they are looking for a white man who was filmed wearing a white Bruins hat a Celtics jersey and a white undershirt Anyone with information that could help police catch the porch pirate is questioned to reach out to District A- detectives at - Callers are allowed to remain anonymous Stabbing individuals sought BPD officers were sent to Cheney Street in Roxbury around p m on Sunday September to a account of a stabbing When they arrived they determined an adult woman suffering from a stab wound The woman had serious but non-life threatening injuries and was sent for restoration An examination revealed the stabbing had occurred just blocks away at Blue Hill Avenue Officers are asking the citizens s assistance in apprehending four people craved in connection to the stabbing The Boston Police Department is asking anyone who recognizes one of these four people who are requested in connection with a stabbing in September to reach out to detectives BPD photo Detectives assigned to district D- ask that anyone who knows anything about the stabbing or recognizes one of the individuals reach out to them at - National Faith Blue Week The Boston Police Department is joining other law enforcement agencies across the country in observance of National Faith Blue Week a yearly event founded by MovementForward Inc in collaboration with the Department of Justice s Office of Society Oriented Policing Services The yearly multi-day event is aimed at facilitating safer stronger more just and unified communities by directly enabling local partnerships among law enforcement professionals residents businesses and public groups through the connections of local faith-based organizations according to organizers Events in Boston started Sunday with a blessing of animals event at Saint Cecilia Parish and a Mass with Meet Greet Reception at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross Events continue Monday at noon with a population gathering for Mass and blessing of police officers at Saint Anthony Shrine Arch Street A similar event is scheduled for a m on Tuesday at Holy Name Parish Centre Street BPD officers will also be available on Tuesday from noon until P M at Nuevo Dia ADHC Armory Street Jamaica Plain for a Coffee with a Cop event Tuesday s events will conclude with a prayer walk with Franklin Hill residents starting at p m and leaving from Harvard Street in Dorchester Refreshments will be served at each of the events
